BioMaterials and Translational Medicine 

Welcome to Zhou's research page at the Institute of Translational Medicine, Qingdao University. We are working on the development of advanced biomaterial with unique chemical, physical and biological properties to assist the diagnosis and treatment of challenging diseases such as cancer, tissue injury and defects. The clinical translation of our biomaterials-based strategies is the ultimate goal of our group.  My broad aims are to: 

1. Marine biomaterials in biomedical applications

2. Investigating cell-biointerface interactions. 

3. Biomechanics and mechanobiology in tissue engineering.

4. Buliding high-throughput screening platforms for cellular functional characterization.
